BigPete86
Welcome to the forum, you def need a couple more tanks or a big tank because that's a helluva lot of fish for 113L between 3 tanks...

HannibalsMum
ty guys, it doesnt hep that the oher half keeps coming home with fish...lol he is building a bbq/smoker so to keep me happy i get the fish. he knows that i need a bigger tank due to the fry that keep coming. i need to get them growing quicker and out, however the fry are a great way of funding the tanks (at first i wasnt to bothered if the fish breed, now i need them to.. lol) BigPete, it is a bit of a juggling act, at the moment half of 2 month old fry (of which there are 45ish)are getting changed from the large tank to the 25L every week or so to get them bigger, the day they were due to get split between the two larger tanks an the 20L to have a 100% water change to sit for a week, my main mum (gold nugget lyre tail) was acting a bit funny, so i put her into the 20L an she gave birth a couple of hours later... :S i did get to see my first live birth an worried a bit when i saw the fry's bellies.. but all are healthy an bout 3 weeks old now. Karen, i have a small problem with keeping guppies and sword tails, but then in saying that there were a few that i didnt know the true age of. also keep getting white spot thu my main tank, getting the right meds for that is safe for all is tricky. i have good stuff now an all are happy. (altho i was a bit upset when i almost lost my first yoyo loach a couple of months back, i think he had fin rot cause he almost lost all of his fins. but now he is happy and healthy an i know what one he is..) at the moment i have 6 of my gourami's gettng to know each other for prep for when i get a bigger tank, 3 honey's, 2 neons, an a honey flame, all are ruffly the same size. the honeys were very shy but seem to be coming out of their shell with the others around. an i have a tiger barb sulking due to its time out in the breeders net. i'm a little at a lost what i'm going to do if i cant get some that the same size as it soon (it is about twice the size of the other 4 tigers, an gives them a really hard time, and the other fish). i was thinking just another 2 tigers... dont know. anyhows... they do make you worry from time to time but are a joy to have. HannibalsMum
hi, ty, lol, that is my afican butterfly ( my avatar is him!) he was my unicorn to get, we had one when i was growing up, most of the fish i had were from growing up that i remember. it was by chance that i took my frist batch of molly babies into the local fish shop and they had 4. he was the best an biggest of the lot, (the other male had some of his fins nipped off) so got money from the babies and home he came with me.. he has grown well an i've only had a couple of harilqins go missing however i had that happen before he came, his red is coming thu really nicely. the other half has told me that he isnt going to bring anymore home cause i'm bugging him for a new larger tank.. lol (due to many babies) it looks like i'm going to have to wait for that for a little while to first get the one i want and also the right price. Donny that chem-pure is AMAZING. it has been in for 18ish hours an the tank looks awsome!! its a shame that they dont have anything smaller for my 25L tank.
