mike_vr90 Posted July 7, 2013 Report Share Posted July 7, 2013 hey just wondering how many litres or kilos of glass noodles to use in a 2ft sump? also how much of other stuff that you would recommend as im doing up an order now for my new 2ft sump and have no clue as to how much of each item I will need to set it up, I don't want overkill in this setup and I don't want to buy too much pretty much just what I need to set it up..... I already have an ammonia elim pad and a heap of bio balls and picked up 3 metres of filter wool today from spotlight also..... thanks for any in-put. mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mq_camo Posted July 8, 2013 Report Share Posted July 8, 2013 All really depends on the size of your chambers and what other media you are putting in there. If it were me I'd buy some mesh bags that ladies wash their bras and stuff in and I'd bag up some noodles/matrix and fill In any spare space, bag or 2 if purigen in there on your pump side. Unless your water is coming off a drip tray into your bio balls you probably be better off running some form of other media.
