Bully
So don't know if this is to bad or not; I have a little movement in my 5x2x2 tank when I walk past it or the dogs are mucking around in front of it. It's on wooden floors and my house is a 1960's style, I've got it upstairs next to the wall near a structural beam that's under the house.. It's only a bit of movement but still I don't like what I see.. The tank and the stand was made by dennison about 18months ago so I'm sure it's fine. What's ur thoughts people, should I be worried? Cheers Steven
JayPee
I have my 6x2x2 upstairs and I can jump in front of it and have very minimal movement. If I was you I'd move it or reinforce the floor.

machdad71
The movement in your floor could end up cracking the base of the tank I believe as your tank should be completely level but I think it depends on how much movement you say is occurring. Is the movement in the center of the tank or at one end?
Bully
Thanks for the response, it only rocks/moves a little when I walk past across the hole tank not a particular side. It on old but strong floor boards and under house has strong beams running along the other direction. The stand was made extra strong with massive/wide base legs. Can't really add any support under house as this is where I park my car which is my another concern. Is there someone I could contact to get a professional advice from ie. builder/engineer..
