lloydashton
Hi All, I know there has been a few posts about where to hire them from but no actually places listed. Im looking for good strong suction ones. Any help would be great on where to hire or purchase from (Besides Bunnings) as i have to move 11 tanks in the next few weeks. luckyfish
Hey mate, Bunning sell them. We bought singles and doubles $15-$20 i think. But these helped lift a 8 ft tank, came in real handy, we are using them again tonight to lift a few big tanks including a 8x3x3! try bunnings

mines bigger
They Coates hire, kennards hire, just have a look in the phone book and make some calls, they are fairly common hire units

luckyfish
yeah they worked a treat, just make sure they're 100% secure before lifting them lol
Donny@ageofaquariums
yeah they worked a treat, just make sure they're 100% secure before lifting them lol They are handy, you just really need to push in the disc hard and do the latch do the discs one by one, on the double one........ and it gets a good grip have 2 of the double ones each, and you can really get a good grip It just comes down to having lots where as if you have the really expensive pro ones......... you only need a few I have only used ours twice and in my mind they have already more than paid for themselves. lloydashton
Thanks for the responses Donny and Luckyfish. Is it a certain brand from bunnings or is that they only ones they stock?
Donny@ageofaquariums
They were the only ones they stocked. I tried to get more the other day and the Browns Plains bunnings is still out of stock. ~ one more tip, ensure you clean the area you are going to try attach the suction cup. As a clean surface results in a better hold and much less chance of slippage.
Carib
Hey, just to add, A mate bought a couple off total tools in Brendale Northside Brissy, kennards hire them out for 24$ a day and they retail for $40. Figured between moving his 6x2x2 and mines we're in the black. Only downside was he had to wait till they ordered them in and it took a week. Cheers and good luck with the move DTA Australia - Suction Cups This was the brand
