lloydashton
Hi All, I have just sold my townhouse and will be renting for a year until i find a place to buy, the houses i have looked at to rent are brand new but the taps out side say "recycled water do not drink". Apparently all new houses on the gold coast will have recycled water for the out side taps. Does any one know if this is safe for aquariums, and how do people do water changes that have recycled water taps out side? The laundry taps are tank water. lloydashton
I think i found my answer, can not use the recycled water for aquariums.. Will have to get another tap installed to the main drinking water line somewhere in the house.

matt_a
You should contact your water company and get a data sheet, and maybe test it out with some guinea pigs, probably something American?
lloydashton
I dont have any spare tanks, and my fish are worth way to much to try with. I can just get a plumber to install another tap off the drinking water line.
