Don't have any "hands on" experience with mussels but I did look into them at one stage, One point to note is if one dies, ya cant tell easily due to their inactive" nature an they can mess up the water quality pretty quick. Of course, that wont be an issue if your diligent about your tank and have adequate filtration. If you get some, i'd be interested to know how ya go.
