rex82 Posted July 30, 2013 Report Share Posted July 30, 2013 I looked into breeding clownfish once, I was deterred by the amount of fry a single pair will put out. If you do the math a single pair of clownfish can putout up to 40000 fry a year with very limited market to sell them to. For example a clownfish lives for approx 20 yrs so not really a renewing market. I'm not trying to deter you at all but just a few things to think about before spending up big on them.
