Recommended Posts

dwarf cichlds love demolishing them too.

one of my tanks got an infestation, in went in a pr of dehane, 2 days later i had one well fed dehane pair and not alot of snails left.

I've found all my apistos will eat them too, so if you have dwarf cichlids get a few and crush them up and feed them too them.

i've manage to get the larger one of the two, (i threw them back in the tank :S) so i'll crush it an let the khuli an blue rams have a go at it. an when i find the other one it will go the same way to the yoyos an mollies... lol

with my last infestation i had got rid of them by hand picking them out as much as i could an then the khulis took care of the rest/smaller ones.

cause they have been in my med tank will i have to worry bout making sure they are clean by putting them in a glass of clean water like you do with mussles?

Wait till night time. turn all the lights off, give it 15 - 30 minutes then turn the light on and go hell for leather as all the snails will be out on the surface, then you can go nuts once you see how many you really have other than the two you found.

well we will see. might have to stop meds an throw a couple of loaches in to polish em off.. i got three cheeky yoyo's that would enjoy doin that.
