Mitch.0
Hi, Im going away for a week or so and am a bit cautious leaving my fish feeding responsibilities to my husband so thinking automatic feeders may be a wise option. Does anyone have any for sale? Thanks Michelle
thatsright99
What sort of fish are they for a start?
thatsright99
Fish feeders are a waste of money unless you're going away for more then 5-7 days or more and you have no one to feed for you. Get a ziplock bag and put an amount of food into it and write on it which day to feed contents. Foolproof.
gingerbeer
Pillboxes are a good option for the uninformed, and have him scan the tank daily for fish hiding in corners. Any problems give him an emergency contact, maybe a friend, or LFS that you can trust.
Mitch.0
Thanks for the advice. One tank has Tang Sandsifters, Leptosomas, Nigripinnis Second tank has Blue Ocellatus with fry Third tank has all fry Also have Sandsifters with mouthfuls at the moment so will be more really small fry to come. I think the emergency contact suggestion is a fantastic idea Unfortunately hubby just sees the as 'fish' and won't give them the 5 star treatment they are used to but I will write up a how to feed my fish guide
th3f0rg0t3n
i might be wrong but if you contact litigator666 via pm would be the best option i believe he has a few auto feeders he would sell or possibly loan for such a cause, hope that helps.
