He doesn't like being in a bag, but once into a tank he just settles down for the day (or weeks, for the Ekka). If I ever felt he was in distress I wouldn't do it. If you're in the city why not come and meet tadpole and check out the displays. Besides the fish there'll be Dreamworld, Australia Zoo, bats, snakes, frogs etc etc... pffft! Your a legend Rose, that is such great news you can take tadpole along. I would come a long for a look but coincidentally I am involved in a meeting at Griffith Uni organising a research project on lungfish. So I guess I'm doing my bit for threatened species day.
