th3f0rg0t3n
is it safe to have driftwood that is wet in a bath tub where soaps/chemicals etc are regularly used then place that piece of wood back into a tank ?? i would assume the chemicals/soaps would have been sucked into the wood therefore making it useless or dangerous???? Umm, no. I would imagine they would be unusable if I soaked them in soapy water for months. But if they have been sitting on a surface that MAY have had some sort of diluted soapy water over it, I don't think they'll be unusable. Quick wash with water and back into the tank. people keep fish in their bathtub.
