The Tech Den Posted August 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 23, 2013 Made more sense with Caboolture to make it helpful to people that just need to pop in and pick up something in a hurry, unfortunately Jimboomba was not an option. Now it is just a little madness trying to get it all sorted with paperwork, leasing and all the good things. It may not be extravagant but feel it is a step in the right direction but have been told by a lot of people "you should do it" and as normal listen to the things you guys want. The Tech Den Posted August 30, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 30, 2013 A bit more info - the shop is at 1/3 Lear Jet Drive Caboolture and about 2 minutes off the highway. Wanted to make it easy access for people. Picked up the freezer today for the frozen food and still working on deals with suppliers. Should have the stock going in this week and hope it will be good to go early next week. May be a tad earlier. Would like to hear members thoughts on trading hours simply because we listen everyone. How many people would go out to pick up their fishy stuff on Sundays and if we went 10-6 weekdays would that be a good idea where you could pick up something on the way home? I think like most buissness operators like yourself being closed Monday/Tuesday and open Saturday Sunday is a good option. Your weekends would be your busiest days. But your mail order is so damned quick you'll have start taking 3-5 days turnaround to encourage me to come into your store lol. I'll hold off now ordering a few products so I can come in an pick them up Will we see any live stock in there.... maybe just a tank or too? Still have a few cards up my sleeve to play and still have one objective to achieve this week which will make a lot of people very happy if I can convert it. Sounds like I will need to have a big jar of Mento's for those that come into store. Looking forward to frozen food to compliment the current food range we have and working on the Bio Pure Hikari range and also a budget range to cover most fish-keeper wants. My parents live on Bribie so also in a great spot for me on BBQ days! Parking is good and easy access with it being 2 minutes off the highway. There will be heaps of caves to choose from too. Don't know of anyone that will have more caves to choose from. This is what to look for when we open - might even have a range of tanks upstairs. Should not be too long till opening day and there will be some good in store specials - Be some good Otto specials too, signed off on those today.
