Vietnam - flowerhorns (mainly)

Recommended Posts

Good stuff Taz,

Tara and I are off to Vietnam in 2 weeks :)

What did you say the word for aquarium fish was that I need to tell the taxi's?

You guys will have a great time, especially looking at fish - was one of our highlights lol cause it got us outa the main tourist areas. Ca' means fish - not sure on spelling but it sounds like ca'gaunt (fish for site, not eating). If you dont get the pronounciation right they won't know what you're talking about. Flowerhorn is easy - louhan!

Thanks bud, yeah i'm sure we will have a great time, I will anyway ;) We spent a couple of hours in the bangkok markets and probably only saw 1/4 the shops. It was amazing how many shops only sold flowerhorns.

I just checked up the spelling on google translate and it said "Ca canh" Is 'Fish for sight' and "Ca Canh Khong an" Is 'fish for sight not eating' does that sound about right?
