Rich-mahogany
Hi guys, I've recently upgraded my filtration to deal with a growing bioload. I currently have one 12" Oscar, a 4" Jewel, a 4" JD and a 5" Blue Texas as well as a handful of bristlenose in a 4x2x2. Im running an 1800lph cannister and a 2000lph internal. Will this be enough when the Texas and JD are fully grown? Thanks for any help.
Karen
you have heaps of filtration, imo use decent media in your canister , obviously your internal will need the sponge cleaned regularly
Daharkazangel
Yeah I agree, heaps buddy...unless you enjoy watching fish in a whirl pool lol. I only have a 3500lph canister running on a slightly bigger tank (5x2) and way heavier stocked. Water is crystal
Rich-mahogany
Thanks guys. I'm more worried about the sheer amount of waste from the Oscar. Its crazy. If I give him 10g of food, he'll spit 5g out but still manage to take a 10g dump. Its science defying.
