liquidg Posted September 2, 2013 Report Share Posted September 2, 2013 Those branchy pieces will have excellent biological surface area and provide swim throughs, also heaps of protective areas for small life like shrimps to exist in. I would get more to make most of your bio surface area of anaerobic internally and aerobic externally in the aquarium and sit some pretty pieces of live rock on top here and there and place life as you go inside the branchy pieces as well.
