Purchased some Christmas moss from beencees before, very healthy moss and relatively cheap compare to the ongoing price on xmas moss. Other than that he also chucked in some stems of rare plants from his tank for me to try on. Moreover, I have pm/emailed beencees several times asking him how to look after a planted tank with CO2 system (envy at his jungle 4ft tank haha), what’s the “best” aquarium equipments to use and how to breed fish (especially Bristlenose and L-numbers! Mind that they often have contradictory suggestions on the net, making it very confusing for a newbie) and so on. He always replies with very helpful, detailed info and pointed me to the right directions. And this is not the end of the story! Later on I've decided to upgrade to a breeding system due to increase of fish population and tanks (from a 9L tank with ONE fighter fish to 6 tanks and 100+ fish???). However I have difficulties with plumbing therefore pm beencees for any hints/advices. His response however was simple – spent his whole weekend just to help a newbie (who he only met once) with setting up a fish system including all the plumbing hassles!(that also means a trip to Bunnings to get all the materials sorted). To be honest I was really surprised and couldn't thank him enough for what he have done. Just have to say it’s great to have beencees in this hobby!
