razuya
This is my vieja melanurus living in my 800 litre American community tank. Currently 18cm, I think its a male. Got him 6-8 months ago at 6-8cm. I haven't seen any other melanurus except in google images. Would love to see what anyone else's look like... razuya
He starting showing the colour pictured about a month ago. I this a good specimen? I'm hoping as he grows there'll be more colour and less black. The pics are him on his best day, with the light catching him just right, taken on a phone. kasman
Melanarus have been deemed same Sp. as Synspilum. But yours is not one. Kinda looks like a Coatzacoalcos. This is my Synspilum and IMO what a good one should look like.
Fish Junkie
Coatzacoalcos are red Zonatum are blue It's 100% not a Melanurus You need to check out the parents when buying fish or trust the seller FJ
