Nafe420
I'm currently moving my fish to different tanks and was wondering if I put the FX5 straight from the 5x2x2 to the 6x2x2 and only use 50% new water and 50% from the established 5ft I should be able to move the fish immediately yea? There's over 50 fish so rather be safe than sorry. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers Nathan
michaelandbrittany
I just did that, I waited until the water heated up then adjusted them and put them in. They seem to.be doing fine, but it is a gamble sometimes.
Aqua Addict
Can you transfer the substrate as well? That'll give you an extra safeguard, considering it has a massive bio area.
Nafe420
Yea I'm thinking it should be fine, the fish are all mature apart from me just spotting some possible tiger pleco baby but the rest are pretty hardy. And no that was one of my main changes cos I had a mix of clay, sand and gravel and now just want a standard natural gravel as most of my plants are bulbed, fern or anubias. Add some stress zyme and all should be ok. Thanks guys
