My Watermelons and Leopard Cactus.

4 posts in this topic

I feed all my fish Spectrum which I get from you guys at Age of Aquariums. Also need the driftwood as Watermelons eat timber as a part of their diets.

Every 2 weeks i'll throw in some chopped up fresh "Saltwater" prawns which I take the shells off.I soak the prawns in fresh water for about an hour before feeding them which takes a little salt out.The L114 leopards love them.I don't use algae wafers to feed my plecos at all.Spectrum has loads enough ingredients in it to suffice. My Americans eat it and all my various pleco species eat it.I pretty much swear by the stuff.

Thats so awesome man.

I swear by nls too.

But yea thats a complicated tank to feed.

Perfect for spectrum tho.

I imagine you get to see a lot of jealous people over those fish...... but I am definitely more green jelly than those watermelons!
