Fronnies and plecos

Recommended Posts

I waddled out to my fishy room this morning to notice that my treasured frontosa male seemed distressed and had a mouthful. Having studied the birds and bees at school, I caught him to find what he was hiding in his mouth. I looked in to find a gold spot pleco looking out at me. I managed to get the pleco, which is a reasonable size (8cm or so) out and both are now happy.

Needless to say there are now no more plecos or bristlies in the fronnie tank. Tough way to learn a lesson, a short time later no doubt the pleco would have been impossible to move and wedged in with his bristles.
