regani Posted March 1, 2014 Report Share Posted March 1, 2014 Yes, it works but have to do it fairly often to get good results (at least once a day, depending on tank volume, amount added, and planting level of the tank). The problem with that approach (apart from long-term cost) is that carbonated/mineral water also contains low levels of salts such as sodium bicarbonate.
