regani Posted March 1, 2014 Report Share Posted March 1, 2014 Yes, it works but have to do it fairly often to get good results (at least once a day, depending on tank volume, amount added, and planting level of the tank). The problem with that approach (apart from long-term cost) is that carbonated/mineral water also contains low levels of salts such as sodium bicarbonate. With the frequent additions this will increase your KH and GH which is not so good for plant growth and possibly your fish Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
