billfish
Bought a couple of whiptails the other day and was wondering a few things like what size do they mature to breed ? Do they do better as a larger group? How long can they live .didnt buy them to breed they just look cool and hopefully when they grow i can put in with my bg knife ? bigjohnnofish
i have had royal whips breed at 5 and 6cm body length... 10-15 eggs... even before the male has shown a whisker of its beard... i only recently lost an original pair which made them minimum of 7 years old... and i have other pairs 5 years old and still breeding every 10-14 days.... recommend you go longnose whiptails if your gonna put them in with knife fish... longnoses grow quick and can reach 25-28cm body size within 12-18 months....
