Hi Karen, I have been keeping rainbows and Rosy barbs together for a few years with no dramas at all. From what I have seen Gudgeons shouldn't cause issues there either.

I also have an Angel in a small tank with Blue eyes and a clown loach and all is well there too.

An Angel may get a bit competitive at feeding time.

rainbows will basically fit in with most tropical fish types but you mayfind theyll et the fins of long finned varieties like an angel but also keep in mind they like live food so if its small enough (neons etc) other fish will dissapear and rainbows i find like a bit of a flowing current which some other species wont like !!! it basically comes dont to trail and error !!! and ild avoid preditor type fish such as devils oscars etc

awesome i want to have a few tropicals in there i have an angel left over from my lot pairing off was thinking like 2 rainbows 2 gudgeons 2-3 rosy barbs and the one angel so i guess i will just try and see how they go......
