M&J Fabulously Fish
So I'm looking at upgrading all my eheim jager heaters. At this present time I am unable to not able to install a reverse cycle air conditioner but will later on. I was looking at some Titanium and stainless steel aquarium heaters I'm looking for something That has digital control very low power consumption Any ideas on brand, quality and best place to buy? saczel
I was always a fan of eheim heaters but after a semi dodgy one(i have 4) i found a inline one about 300w on AOA and found it was on for less time and kept a regular temp better than the eheims. They seem to heat better than the accepted 1w per litre as in normal ones, more like about .5w per litre. Hydor ETH 300w they still sell them by the looks and mine work well after about 5 years. One thing i noticed about all my heaters is if i took it out after winter they often played up after being used and dried, leave them in the tank over summer, no problems. Not a problem for inline ones as they stay put. But i also have a cheapie Chinese glass heater i thought would last 6 months and it's still going strong after several years, but left in tank over summer. The Hydor's will be what the next replacements are.
