ducky
Noticed some hydras growing in my planted tank this afternoon. I currently only have plants and the odd snail in this tank but am being graciously gifted some juvie guppys, R.C.S. and bristlenose from peterw. question is, will these tiny jelly fish like organisms harm the soon to be new editions? Daydream
Depends on size of juvies this stuff has the ability to wipe out whole spawns.have seen it eat up to 5mm fry
ducky
Well that sounds serious. Was that a colony of Hydra or just a single developed one? I can see 4 of them and the largest is 2mm. I've seen a few options of removing them, salt, a few commercial products. Can anybody recommend there preference?
Daydream
Internal parasite clear is the best option but cant find any locally but no planaria will also work salt not to good for plants .they will multipiy rapidly esp with over feeding.
