fishfish
Hi all looking to add a few of either not sure which one yet to my tank. Currently have blue dolphins, blue pindani, e yellows, venustus and hongi all around the 4-8 cm. tank is 3ft have 15 total fish ATM feed them cichlid pellets/flake and sometimes protein pellets from butch. Will they be ok with these fish and anything in particular I should know about them, been reading lots about them on the web Thanks
FinsnChips
Hey mate the only thing I would watch out for is that calvus / comps grow really slow, while venustus grow really fast. Could lead to some problems unless you get the calvus / comps quite large to begin with.
fishfish
I'm thinking of taking the venustus out only have 2 and I think they both female not as good as the males with their colours
FinsnChips
Yea if you take out the venustus then all should be fine, I've kept calvus with all the fish you've listed above before without any dramas.
fishfish
Going to take out 1 or 2 of your hongi to make room as well. Will the venustus just get to big to quick and want to eat them? What about diet for the calvus?

HereFishieFishie
Altos go alright with most other cichlids, I prefer to have Altos at a bigger size in a mixed tank. Frenchy
