th3f0rg0t3n
They go through different mood changes in which the colours will change, Tankmates/Diet/Substrate/Water conditions, will all play a part in these colour variances also, but mostly the fishes general mood i've found ! Look's fine to me, nothing to worry about. They are TOUGH as nails.
tharinda
Thanks mate.....U reckon the red would come back coz I haven't much red in a while
JayPee
Mood and dominancy plays a big part with these guys I find. One of mine is truly a stunning fish while the other is just a rtgg. Then some days they go grey all over and others they are white with the black spot. What other fish are in the tank.

JayPee
Try feeding it some fruit maybe. One of mines is like a dirty red while the other is a stunner. Pellets are ok as a filler food but get some fruit into the deit.
Donny@ageofaquariums
Give it some good quality krill based pellets, like NLS and it will bling back up. Likely had been fed food with some astax content. Gourami respond very well to astax, should see how well leeri bling up!

goneself
He might be bleaching himself 'cause of the pale background..not sure what your substrate is, but if that's pale as well I'd say darkening one or both will persuade him to bring his colours out more. litigator666
can it be just a plain greyGG? not sure though.

Donny@ageofaquariums
can it be just a plain greyGG? not sure though. Could be the case, as the red does tend to fade out as they grow.
thatsright99
I asked someone about if the rtgg keeping the colour and they said they females may loose it but males should keep the colours. Dark gravel would help darken the fish either way.

thatsright99
I'd say it was shy. Is it a recent addition? If you have ..yep just had a look at the pics. The oscars going to be a problem.. and a pig. If you spend a bit more time with it, it'll become like a puppy for you. But just b careful, they have bloody sharp teeth lol Finn, your pgg will grow pretty quickly now for a bit

PETFISH
they need a diet of friut and veg mainly as they are a herbavore/vegitarian, high protien is not good for them, mine get koi pellets once a week, the rest of the time they get strawberry's, banana, corn, carrot, beans etc, etc, etc, but not to much banana it's also once a fortnight as a treat. aquaholic99
I wouldn't expect to get good/happy colour from a fish with several oscars in the same tank. Maybe when it's much much bigger perhaps.
