jcumpstay
Recently received a colony of Tropheus and one of the colony appears to have something wrong with it's pelvic/ventral fin. Can anyone suggest what i might be able to do (if anything) for this fish? He is currently in hospital tank with salt, however i'm not sure if there is anything else i should be doing or if he has sustained an injury too great to be repaired? Any insight or advice appreciated. Video here

Chris.fishvet_ffvs
Hi there, Do you have a photo of the broken pelvic fin? The circling swimming motion can also be caused by CNS disease. A complete history would be good if you have the time to call the clinic. If you would like to speak about it further, please call Future Fisheries Veterinary Service- we are a Vet service just for fish- ph 0450 035 001. Cheers, Christine
